The Manor

One family, one century

Houses change hands. This one never did.

For over a hundred years, the manor at Rua 20 de Janeiro, 253 has belonged to the same family — the Toscanos. In Itu's historic center, where every facade carries a chapter of São Paulo's history, that permanence is rare: while the city grew, changed and reinvented itself all around, the manor crossed an entire century under one name.

The family's full history in the manor — the generations, the uses, the memories — will be published in this section.

Listed facade · CONDEPHAAT

The facade is protected by state heritage listing. What you see today is what the city will always see — no neighbor, no renovation, no passing decade will ever disfigure it.

In a historic center, authenticity protected by law is the one asset money cannot buy later: the corner, the scale, the design of the facade and the manor's immediate surroundings are guaranteed by a state preservation instrument. For a gastronomic house meant to become definitive, it is the setting no modern retrofit can reproduce.
